Happy B-day to me:]:]:]:]

Birthdays are the funniest thing. I have finally reached the age when a birthday can come and go with little notice on my part. I expected this birthday to be like that. Going to take the day off ,color easter eggs with the girls, and pay little attention to the fact that it was April 23rd. My friends and children had a different idea apparently. There have been several things that are making this birthday 'stand out.' The dozen roses from the northern Utah Doyle's, homemade slippers from Mom, candles and a t.v. series year from Bryon, a card from a favorite aunt, and card from an adorable grandaughter, the list just goes on and on. Such an outpouring of love is very humbling. I love all of you so much too. This is so much more than I deserve. I can't thank you all enough.

On a different note, Mom told me the best quote this morning. Yeah, I going to share:]

Yard is only half done...

Lovely day off...but it's over now...It must have been love...but it's ooooover now...Sorry, spaced for a minute. I love my life. There is ALWAYS something to do. Today, I had a zillions things on my 'to do' list but did about 3. It's ok, no one to answer to but me. I DO love my life. If I want to do something..I do it...if I don't...I don't. Even my money is my own. Does life get any better? Don't misunderstand, I realize some people NEED to be married. I mean, If you're raising kids, it's better if mom and dad live in the SAME house. I don't NEED to be married and loving the fact that I'm not. I even have my retirement planned. 40 cats and a scooter. I can see it now!!! Ain't life grand!!

Yep, I'm at that time of year when it's eat, work, eat, sleep, eat, work... If you don't believe the eat part..rest assured...I'm getting plenty to eat. Seems I'm too tired to do much else. It didn't help to be on MY Thursday only to realize it was only my Wednesday. Didn't I already have one of those this week? Oh yeah, this is a 6 day work week. Two Wednesdays? How rude! I hope to get back to my little projects soon. For now it's all I can do to keep my head above water. I'm sure some of you know how I feel! The ONLY thing that will save me this week is that I get to work with 'my' girls for what is actually my Thursday and Friday. Look for me,..say about Wednesday...I mean y'alls Wednesday. Ok, now I'm CONFUSED!
